  • Boat launch is at Magnum Point Marina (Buoy B37). Our two docks are across the lake from Buoy 40. There are two of them. The fixed dock with boat house serves The Lodge and All Decked Out. The floating dock serves The Cabin, The Retreat and The Getaway. You may dock one boat or two personal watercraft per cabin.

  • Kroger, Food Lion, Walmart – Rocky Mount (15–20 minutes)

  • Regular drip coffee maker.

  • Propane gas grills are provided but must be cleaned after use.

  • Each cabin includes deck furniture. Plastic chairs may be used around the fire pit but please return them to the porch before check-out. Roasting sticks are also available on the porch. Please clean before returning them.

  • Fire pits are available but you may not gather wood from the property. You can bring your own firewood or arrange for us to supply a firewood bundle (with a starter log) for $25.

  • Kayaks are available to rent on a first come, first served basis. Life jackets are included.

    Rates:
    $50 for a two-night stay
    $75 for three to seven nights


    Deposit: $50 refundable deposit per kayak (deposit is returned when equipment is returned in a good condition)


    Arrangements: Must be made before your arrival date

  • Due to severe allergies, animals of any kind are not allowed with the exception of service animals.

  • This property is located in a small enclave of log homes with both full-time residents and short-term guests. The cabins are within short walking distance from each other & have privacy walls on the porch.
